Fall season is upon us folks! If you're in the northern hemisphere, hot girl summer is sadly coming to an end. But guess what? The fall aesthetic is back in town and now you can get your Polaroid camera out and can enjoy the fall vibes and everything that comes with it.

The chilly autumn air and changing leaves, Pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin pies are just just one of the many things to love about fall.

There are many fall activities that you can do to make the most of this time. Here are the 10 best fall activities to inspire your fall bucket list.

1. Spend a day at an orchard and pumpkin patch.

Nothing is more fun than going to the orchard to pick sweet apples in a cozy autumn outfit with your cute Polaroid and snapping a bunch of cute Instagram-worthy pictures.

Then you can head over to a pumpkin patch for a wholesome family experience, take aesthetic fall pictures, and take part in a bunch of fun and interesting family-friendly games. Picking pumpkins is a must, of course, the amazing foods, and going through a corn maze is always fun and adventurous.

2. Scented candles.

You've probably got a whole collection of candles already, but there's always more to discover.

Fall candles create a much cosier atmosphere around your home and provide comfort. Plus, they complement your home, and flickering lights add to the charm. Depending on the fragrance, they can trigger a happy memory, like the aroma of pumpkin spice. So, not only do they make your home cosier, but they also bring back some lovely feelings.

3. Go shop for fall clothes.

What would autumn be without a little shopping spree for crispy fall days? Consider adding a nice little bomber jacket and a nice trench coat to your wardrobe, and grab some stylish boots and a warm sweater. If you're a Halloween girl, don't forget to find a Halloween costume. If you're looking for inspiration, Pinterest and TikTok are full of Halloween costume ideas and cosy autumn outfit ideas.

4. Make cute fall treats or bake pie.

If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy indoor fall activities, you're in for a treat! It's time to get creative with fall-themed treats. You can make use of all those apples you collected at the orchard to whip up a delicious apple pie or, even better, an apple crumble.

You can also make pumpkin pie and indulge in Halloween-themed s'mores. The comforting aroma in your kitchen will linger around your home, adding to the coziness.

5. Watch fall movies as a date night or a sleepover.

One of the best things to do in the fall is host a spooky movie night sleepover at your house.

But first, make sure that your fall decor is in place!

If that's already sorted, get ready for a cosy fall evening by moving your mattress into the living room, wearing your cosy Halloween pyjamas and socks, Get your favourite popcorn and snacks ready, and why not get a projector while you're at it for a full cinematic experience?

Don't forget a comfy blanket.

You can choose from a variety of fall movies like Hocus Pocus, Harry Potter, and if you're feeling romantic, there are literally tonnes of fall romantic movies such as When Harry Met Sally and my personal favourite, You've Got Mail and Pride and Prejudice. Get cosy and enjoy

6. Crocheting.

Have you ever thought of crocheting a beanie, scarf, or warm sweater for yourself? Another fun fall activity you can do is attend crochet classes and learn how to crochet.

And if you're familiar with crocheting, get fall-coloured yarn, find a comfortable space indoors or outside, and get a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, and get crotheting. You'll be so proud of yourself for wearing something you actually made.

7. Have a picnic outside.

Why not have a picnic outside? Spend your day among those colorful autumn leaves, having a fall picnic surrounded by the magical fall season. You'll romanticize your autumn experience.

Don't forget to bring your Polaroid camera to capture the fall aesthetic vibes. Set the mood with a charcuterie board, chocolate-covered strawberries, and fall-inspired snacks to enhance the fall picnic vibes.

8. Painting Pumpkins.

Painting or carving pumpkins is a cute DIY activity to bring out your creative side. It's a very relaxing way to embrace the fall season as you can paint in different styles and patterns. While the traditional way of carving pumpkins is always fun, you can also grab a paintbrush and let your creativity flow.

9. Fall home decor.

I absolutely love fall colours; they create the cosiest atmosphere in your home. There are a lot of different fall decor items to add to your home, such as pumpkin pillows, a warm throw blanket, and Halloween mugs.

You can mix and match fall decorations, as well as Halloween decor, to create a cosy ambiance. Consider browsing for fall garlands and fairy lights from Amazon. Fairy lights will add a magical but cosy atmosphere. Don't miss out on fall porch decor. You can add dried florals and painted or carved pumpkins to your porch to make it more inviting.

10. Boo Basket.

Look! I've been hearing about how partners, be it boyfriends or husbands, are creating 'Boo Baskets' for their significant others. You can join in on the fun with your family, besties, or significant other.

A 'Boo Basket' is a delightful tradition where you fill a basket with gifts and treats. Firstly, determine whether the person you're giving the 'Boo Basket' to is into fall or Halloween. Then, find a suitable basket, add cozy items like UGG Tasman slippers, a cute mug, and some treats. Whether it's for a fall girls' night, filled with Halloween candy, or intended as a 'Boo Basket' for him, this tradition can be tailored to your preferences. And if you're a mom, you can even create one for your little ones!
